whats the diffrence between "winnt.exe" and "winnt32.exe"
hi, im new to this stufffinding it difficult to understand the difference between the command "winnt.exe" and "winnt32.exe" and how they are usedany help please, thanks.

anyone??its to do with command line installations, im sure winnt.exe is for 16 bit operating systems WIN95 and back and winnt32.exe is for WINDOWS 98 upwards. am i correct? also what is ment by a HYBRID operating system ?? thanks

WINNT.exe is for installing the OS by say a DOS network boot disk, connecting to a network share and installing the operating system (often from an answer file) WINN32.exe in for GUI based install.WINNT.exe is for 16bit enviroment WINNT32.exe is 32bitCheck this re hybrid system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Windows#Hybrid_16.2F32-bit_operating_environmentsHope this helps.
